ATEX Certified Fuel Pumps

As of April 2016, the requirements of directive 2014-34-EU were enforced across Great Britain and across Europe, this legislative requirement is now transitioning to UKCA. 

Parts 3, 7 and 11 of the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR) apply to most workplaces where a potentially explosive atmosphere may occur. Employers are required to eliminate or control the risk from dangerous substances (further information on these requirements can be found in our resources section). If you are handling fuel that is within a hazardous area you will require an ATEX certified transfer pump or equivalent.
